IM BAAAAACCKKK (you have been warned!)

Hi guys! It's me Dawn! First of all I'd like to thank you all for all the phone calls, email cards and letters.. and support..it was AMAZING . It ment soo much to me. I got home from the hospital a couple hours ago...and im doin real good..just a little tired and sore. The took out my drain, and my main line today..so the worst thing i think i experienced was not getting to shower...ewwwww. That was the first thing i did when i got home! My hair felt nasssty. Im eating protein pudding, protein shakes (aren't half bad believe it or not) popsicles, chicken and beef broth... and drinking crystal light and water. everything is going down fine.. the pudding is slow eating...so i guess the surgery is working! whew!... food still smells yummy to me though...not sickening...i was hopeing it would smell gross..lol. I was expecting to GAIN weight in the hospital since i was on the iv fluids..but my scale is showing 300 instead of 304..so i guess maybe i lost some..kewl . I'm going now to lay down for a bit.. any questions at all just ask guys k? ~Dawn

Dawn I'm so glad your doing well. You area real trooper. One of these days when your feeling up to it, you'll have to meet Amy and I in Iowa falls. I would love to hear the whole story. Thanks and take it easy.***DeAnne

I am so happy you are home!! Keep taking it easy, you don't want to overdo it too soon. Make sure you ask any questions that you have and keep on losing!!! ~Julie

It's so great to hear your doing so good. Yeah I was hoping food might smell nasty to, dang, what a bummer. Oh well, gives me something to ***** about when I get the surgery done. I would just hate to have everything go so well that I would not have anything to complain about. (yeah right). Again welcome home and take it easy for awhile and continue to be a huge loser. (the good kind).
