Our support group meets on the 1st Tue and the 3rd Thur of each month. We are a very informal support group. The meeting is from 6:30-8:30 and is held at St. Luke's hospital. If anyone is interested there is a meeting on Thur. July 17th. I would be happy to meet whom ever at the taco bell on 1st avenue and have you follow me to the hospital, as it is difficult to find the location at first. One and all are welcome. Hi Angie! I actually work at St Lukes PT and was aware there was a support group but my hours are 3:00 to 11:30 Pm Sun-Thurs. I am the only one in my position at night(the checkout desk in ER) so it is impossible for me to get away. I am currently filling in on Thursday nights for another gal who is away on medical leave but by August will have Thrs free so may be able to start then. My WLS is tentatively scheduled for Aug 5 at St Lukes with Dr Keating. Please feel free to stop by after the meeting. I may be able to chat a little if the ER isn't too crazy! Michelle Hurlbut
