Update on Dawn!!!

I just got off the phone with Dawn, she sounds great! She has had no complications, other than she is a little bored of sitting around! She has been up walking, she was never catheterized, and she is hoping to go home tomorrow. She says she will be going home on a liquid protein diet and has already been trying crystal light and sugar free popsicles. She was waiting for her surgeon to come in when we were on the phone and says that the nurses are all amazed at how wonderful she is doing. She says that this surgery went way better than the VBG she had. She can't wait to get online and post everything, so I will leave the rest for her to tell! ~Julie

That is great news! I have thought about calling her again, but I didn't want to wake her if she would happen to be resting or disturb her. (she is disturbed enough! HI Dawn, just making sure you are paying attention Hope to see a post from her soon. Elizabeth

I talked to Dawn about half an hour ago and she does sound good. Maybe getting out tomorrow.

Julie thanks so much for keeping us posted! I am so proud of Dawn. It's wonderful to hear how great she's doing. I can't wait to read her posts again.
