I passed and I have a new surgery date!!

Just got home from my follow up appt with the shrink. I PASSED!!! I now a have new surgery date. August 5th...OMG!!! Less than 4 weeks away. HOLY COW! I am really getting nervous now. I have to have a sleep study and there is a small glitch there. The company they use is not in network and I will have to pay out of pocket, $550.00. I called Dr Sundberg's office and told them I can afford to do this. They are going to talk to Dr Sundberg and let me know if we can get by without it since I have NO symptoms of sleep apnea. Otherwise I am all set. I am waiting to hear about when I go for my chest X-ray ( God I hope they have a big enough machine for these pappies), upper GI, lab and EKG. They will all be scheduled for the same day and I should know monday when that will be.~~~~Amy

Congrats!! I wondered if I would pass my psych eval. I was sweating about it for a while! The x-ray machine is big enough, I have had my 46DD chest done many times. I always tell them they woould get a clearer pic if they let me hold them off to the sides so the machine doesn't have to go thru all that extra tissue!! Keep us posted. DO you have an angel yet? OMG Amy!!! Aug 5th is MY date too!! Do you realize that is only about 2 1/2 weeks, 25 days, 600 hours, 36000 minutes, away??? I keep telling people I am not as scared of the surgery itself as I am of the change in lifestyle. I still have to have my pulmonology appt but I already have sleep apnea and use a cpap so won't have to have another sleep study. My hubby is getting nervous about my dropping weight and FINALLY weighing LESS than him!!! LOL! So he is gearing up for a health club membership- I think we are going to join the Y as a family. We were at a loss as to how to replace our food obsession so the Y should keep us busy! Keep in touch and I will do the same! Can't wait for Christmas! Should be at least 60# lighter! Michelle
