FINAL PRE-OP POST

Hello everyone! Before I say anything else...i just wanted to let you know how very special you all are, and how much your support has ment to me in the last few weeks. Julie, you are TRULY an angel and my inspiration. And everyone here... pre-op, post-op, or just checking into the surgery...you are all sitting on my shoulder as i go into surgery (ok..maybe on my ASS..it is big enough right now..hehe) It's 12:00 am, and that makes my surgery exactly 8 hours away. I just wanted contact everyone and thank each of you for all the kind words and support that I've recieved this last week.. You all have been great! I am printing out the "Dawn's Cyber Party" post and taking it with me to the hospital so i can show the nurses how i HAVE to have a hot male hairstylist.. (or maybe ill just take Kelly's massuse...she's not using him yet..ill break him in for her hubba hubba)...oh... i forgot..he's supposed to rub ME.. lol (shhh dont tell my hubby My parents suprised me and are back from Tennessee early, just in time for my surgery. So things are falling into place well. We have to be at the hospital by 6:15 in the morning. Our daughters (9 and 12) are going to go with us, and stay until I am out of surgery and they know im ok... they are getting old enough i think they need to be able to do that if they want. Well, nothing to eat or drink now until after surgery...so i guess i better try to hit the hay! Kevin will have the cell phone on him 571-7840 if anyone wants to call tomorrow. I am going to be at Trinity Regional Hospital in Fort Dodge and Dr. VerSteeg is doing the surgery. They said it should only take about 3-3 1/2 hrs table time..and then recovery room on top of that..not sure how long that takes. Thanks again for all your support! You have helped me to keep my sanity..and you have given me the priceless gift of peace. I am going to miss you guys! ill post as soon as i get home... maybe sooner if im feeling up to it and my mother brings in her sattelite laptop internet! Love & hugz Dawn

Dawn, I am praying for you. Everything will work and God has BIG plans for you girlie. Please ask someone to update us as soon as possible. You are a very special person and I know all will be wonderful. Be nice to that massuse, I may want to use him myself in a few weeks .~~~Amy

Wow, I remember the day before my surgery, trying to prepare everything and not thinking I got to everything. I hope everything goes well for you, I am a bit surprised at 3 1/2 hours table time, I guess mine only took about an hour. But, each doc is different. I have only been on here about a week or so, but I already wish the best for you, and hope this surgery helps you. And remember the first few weeks are the worse! and things DO get better !
