Isn't this place great?

If you haven't noticed I'm really bored and wired tonight and posting my little(big) butt off. I was just thinking how lucky we are to have this message board. I know this sounds corny but I feel really blessed having found you guys. Don't you wish you could have somewhere like this in your real life? I mean a place where people either are fat, or know what it's like to be fat? Where you can talk about all the embarrassing stuff that gets so bottled up inside when you have to constantly battle the weight? I don't know I just felt I needed to thank everyone for being courageous(sp?) and letting it all out there. And the way everyone seems to be there for one another, so refreshing. Sorry for being so cheesy but you guys are all great!

YES!! I have weight loss support group once a month and I wi**** was once a week! I love this board because I really hope that I help people on here and it helps me keep my eye on the prize... my goal! I feel like I am connected to all of the great people on this board and check this board probably 7 times a day!! ~Julie

Julie, a support group would be so great, you're lucky! I wish there was something around me, but I really don't think there's much of anything in northern Iowa...except corn of course.

Hello Jami, I do so totally agree with you about this message board, it is great to talk to people who either have or are right where I am. I have wanted to give up on everything even living on many ocassions but I come here and look at what you all have to say and I feel so much better, no, I feel so lucky to have u all to talk to. I realize i haven't seen anyone on this site face to face but thats ok, I don't need to see your face, I feel your heart. I have made no bones about not being a religeous person cause I am not but even I know that something led me to this sight and to all of you and I take that as a sign for someone on a higher level than me and I assure you I thank that person on a daily basis for u all. Ok now I'm really getting cheesy huh, I agree You all are really great people and I thank you.

I'd like to thank you all. Things get very busy and sometimes even depressing here, trying to keep everything together on this site. I'm blessed with a great staff and, more importantly, with people like you who are there to remind me in such kind words the value of what I've created here. Too easy to lose sight of that in the day to day chaos of running the world's busiest WLS resource on the planet. Again, thank you very much for the kind words.
