Kelly, my advice to you is keep researching even AFTER surgery! There are a lot of foods out there, and you will feel like you are stuck eating the SAME things over and over... research! There are probably things out there you never thought about, but that you will be able to eat! Your gift pre-op is a nice big bowl of popcorn, that was one thing I missed for the first 6 months post-op! My dietician said to stay away from it and it was HARD!!! For while you are in the hospital, a hulking hot male masseuse to work out the aches in your legs and back and neck... and fun to look at!! And your gift post-op is a brand new pedicure kit, because not only can you reach your toes without losing yoru breath after surgery, but it's fun to treat yourself to something sexy and fun! Well Kelly here comes the fun!!! I think that you told me before that your surgeon was DR Myrie...he rocks...I am so proud of the job he did for me...I hope you will be too. Now for the wishes...1st...before surgery I want you to go to your favorite restaurant here in town and have the worst food and the worst service you have ever had there. We went to the Latin King. Had the worst experience I have ever had there, now I don't even think if I could go there again I would go. 2....for the hospital stay....your own private nurse to answer to you and only you. also the strength to get up and walk when they want you to. 3rd....Once again for home all I hope for you is sanity...patience...and love. Julie...DO you realize how much smoke you are creating here by making me think??? I have to think hard to come up with something good enough for my WLS friends! Pre-Op I wish you the ability to remain half asleep during the trip and checkin so you don't get toooo nervous. (ROFL) For your stay at the hospital, (besides an angel that doesn't screw up!) I wish for you, nothing GREEN that comes in on your "meal tray" (such as it is!) and for post op, I hope for you to have 2 sets of XXX small booties for that sadistic cat of yours! My prayers for a problem free surgery, and a quick recovery. I will see you on Thursday and report here on Wednesday. Elizabeth

Hi Kelly! My advice for you? Make sure you take all your measurements and take several BEFORE pictures. Save your favorite XXXXX size outfit to try on later as a morale booster!!! My preop gift is a weekend at a spa for a makeover; plenty of people to wait on you with your favorite food and drink as well as massage every square inch of you to remind yourself that you are a worthwhile person and very deserving of having a better life! At the hospital I wish for you an abundance of those wonderful heated blankets to soothe your sore tummy! Post-op I would like to give you a $1000 gift certificate to Maurices to celebrate your new sexy body because you can finally fit into those teeny, cutsie outfits!!!! Can't wait to see the NEW YOU!!!
