Name and what you are doing for the 4th of July. Hopefully it is something REALLY fun!

Julie here, and we are going to a big picnic all day with a water fight, food, sparklers, and ending the evening watching the fireworks in Grand Mound Iowa. I am really excited, it is with friends that I have not seen in quite some time!

Sounds like fun Julie! I am SO excited because my mom is coming to visit from Illinois!!!! She'll be here tomorrow night and my 22 month old daughter is going to be so happy(she adores her grandma). Mom, my husband and my daughter and I are going to some fireworks in Mason City tomorrow night if there's no rain. Then again if the weather holds up we'll go to a parade in Northwood on Friday morning. Then Friday night will be fireworks in Clear Lake. I can't wait to see my daughter's reaction to the fireworks. She did see them last year but she was too young to get into it. So this year I'm sure she'll either love it or be terrified. Hopefully she'll love it. Then Saturday or Sunday mom and I will take her to the carnival in Clear Lake! FUN, FUN, FUN....now let's hope it doesn't rain.

We (kevin, I and the girls) are just going to a small town (Otho) fireworks/swap meet thing if the weather cooperates...with a recently divorced friend and his adorable little 5 yr old girl. Not a whole lot planned...want to get in some COTTON CANDY!!!! before my surgery..whoOOO! Only 6 more days and a wake up! I've finally found peace i think. I'm doin real good. Not nervous at all now! We are going to my parents for a cook out. My grandmother who died on the 15th of June was cremated and her urn may join us LOL. My 16 yo has to work at Godfathers, and we may take 3 1/2 yo to fireworks. But, sounds like thunderstorms, let's hope they stay away.

Hi all Amy here....I am not doing alot this weekend. I had female surgery on monday and I am still recovering. I am in alot of pain, but I am getting better everyday. I think we will try the parade thing tomorrow and go to the family reunion in Williams. Maybe go to the parade and fireworks in Iowa Falls as well, will depend on how I am feeling.~~~Amy

Well I have to go to work in the ER tonight at 11PM till 11AM so I pray everyone is sensible on the road and at their parties. As for the rest of tomorrow... probably SLEEP!!! But Saturday we are going to an air show at the Cedar Rapids airport and have a babysitter to go out Saturday night. Michelle
