7 days left - 1/2 lb. gained.

I had my final pre-op appt. yesterday at 1pm. I can't believe with "aunt flow" visiting AND all the food ive been eating preparing for my "LAST" things eaten...not to mention the EMOTIONAL EATING (y'all know all about THAT!) i have only gained 1/2 lb. (and when i TRY to diet i gain 10.. go figure!) My pre-op consult helped me to feel much better about my surgery...still a little nervous, but not as scared. My mother gave me her diamond cross before she left for their pre planned vacation (she hasn't seen my brother in a long time and is going to TENNESSEE...i made her promise she wouldn't change her plans to stay with me...but deep down.. I WANT MY MOMMYYYYY! .....i have orders not to take it off ONCE until right before surgery... then to put it on RIGHT when i get out. I'm finally feeling a little better about this. Dawn- I just looked at your pics on the surgery page and you are going to be GORGEOUS!!! You have very pretty hair! I too am starting my countdown. I have 34 more days before me new birthday. I am excited and nervous at the same time. We are all here rooting for you! Michelle from CR

Oh Dawn I know what you mean about wanting your Mommy. If and when I do have surgery my mom may not be able to be here, and to be honest I would be SOOOOOOO scared without her. Well, I'd be scared with her to but you know! I've been reading all your posts and I swear I get butterflies just reading them as your day gets closer. I think, lord I can hardly make it through a complete stranger getting closer to her surgery date, how will I make it to mine? Ha. Keep posting though, it's such a huge help and relief to see how someone else deals with these feelings at such an emotional time. I just have to say I am SO excited for you. Just think about what we'll all be talking about a couple of months from now when you'll be posting about all those pounds gone!!!!
