I tried to email all of you separately, but the email thing does not seem to be working at the moment. Thank you all so much for the support. I am 49 years old and have a BMI of 42.2 at last doctors visit. No matter how old you get I guess you still want to be thin...lol. I live in Davenport, but grew up in Central Iowa, just outside DesMoines. I am excited to have found this board and hope I can be as supportive to all of you as I am finding you all to be to me. Hi Gloria, I'm Tina and I live in Evansdale, which is next to Waterloo, It's really nice to see new people have found this messageboard. This place has really been great for me, I read messages everyday, These people are so full of information and so easy to talk to. I had my consult last Fri. with Dr. Glas**** in Cedar Falls, Went well I think but I also think that the insurance part is going to be a pain. I have medicare/title19 and I hear they really don't like to pay, but we'll see I guess. I am 45 yrs. old and weigh 267, not only did I find out I weigh more than I thought but I am shorter than I thought, fat and shrinking, go figure. Anyway, I wanted to welcome you and don't hessitate to ask questions, you can't believe how helpful everyone here has been. Again, WELCOME.
