YoooOOOUUUU WHOOOOO EVERYBODYYY!!!
I am 12 days and a wake up from my new life...omg. I'm doin ok... fighting the anxiaty....nerves...my colon is in a terrible state...from all the above..lol. PLUS im dealing with PMS at the same time! whooo my poor hubby! I have my final surgeon consult next Tuesday, July 1st... i have to conjure up $250 to take to that appt. to show good faith and purchase my first 2 weeks of shakes and vitamins and some other stuff...it's required... (anyone have a money tree?? hehe) A few of my last minute purchases are going to include a VERY good blender.. a VERY good scale..and a pedometer that will keep track of how far I walk in a day...so i know how much exercise im getting and how much more i need to add...etc. ANY SUGGESTIONS ON BRANDS OF ANY OF THESE AND APPROX. PRICING WOULD BE GREATTTTTLY APPRECIATED!!! My worst concern in all of this "right before surgery" anxiety... is that it's going to be as painful as my OPEN Vertical Banded Gastroplasty was... i hurt like HELL after i got out of surgery...im hoping they messed up and didn't give me enough pain killer or something..either that or i'm hoping that technology has come up with wonderful new techniques and DRUGGGS!!!! Those of you that can have this done Laproscopically... be very thankful... i had my gall bladder out laproscopically and i was up and going in no time! This will be a little different. ~~Dawn~~

Have you checked out the GNC? There's lots of products in there and unfortunately would take you no time to spend $250. They do have a liquid vitamin that I think I wll take the first month that's about $30 a month. I have had several surgeries and all were different in their pain level. I thought the lap I had when I got my tubes tied was almost more painful than an open. I had an open gall bladder with a foot long incision that wasn't too bad, I've also had 3 c-sections and the first one was HORRIBLE!!! Second, I hardly knew I had and the last one wasn't much worse. I think the more surgery you have the better it may get because you pretty much know what to expect and they are getting better with pain relief. What helps me the most is to get up and walk as soon as you can. I also asked for one of those arm grabber things to help you get out of bed. I WILL NOT use a bed pain which is part of my motivation to get going so soon. (As far as I'm concerned that is as humilating as wearing a diaper!! LOL)
