I have a date too!!

I had my last consult today, my surgery is scheduled for July 9th at Iowa Methodist in DesMoines....7 a.m, soooo early. And also the doctors office gave me a flier for their support group meeting, so anyone in the DesMoines area, its Friday June 27th from 5:30pm-7:30pm at Iowa Methodist in the Deniston Lewis Room. It's for anyone so pre-op,post-op or just learning and you do not have to be a patient of Dr.Myrie or Dr.AC =) ~Kelly

You lucky dog! You scheduled LATER than me..and got the day BEFORE!!! You also have the same date as a friend of mine, JoAnn who is having hers done in Cedar Falls. Just think...this time next year.. we'll be in tank tops and diasy duke cut offs..gettin an awesome tan and turnin the guys' heads! Just once I'd like to be wolf whistled at and have it NOT BE A JOKE! I'll keep you in my prayers, and it would be wonderful if you'd keep me in yours. ~~~Dawn~~~

I will be in the hospital at that time. I hope they have them every month so I can make it to one in the future. This is the best news I have heard! I have support at home but I kinda wanted it from people going through the same thing. Anyway...congrats on your date!!!!!!! My last appointment was on 6/11 and when Janet (?) asked when I wanted to come in I remember seeing the 9th, after he got back from vacation. I chose sooner then later. I am sooo happy for you. Isn't Dr. Myrie a sweetie? Talk to you soon!!! D

Congratulations!!! 7am is a good time, then you don't sit around all day thinking about surgery, lol. Good luck with everything, make sure you ask any questions that you have and just think, by Christmas you won't be able to wear the clothes that you have on right now. Take care!!! ~Julie
