Unsure as to what to do

I have been waiting for over a month now for Dr Sundberg to read over and approve my application. As of today he still has not done this and his nurse states that he is "very busy, we don't know when he will get to you". Should I start looking into another Dr? Where do I go? After the paperwork is sent in I still have to wait for all the pre-op appts. I am n ot allowed to do any of this before the prior approval. If he were to send it in this week ( which is highly unlikely) I still wouldn't be able to have the surgery much before August or September. Does anyone think if I looked at a different Dr I would get it done any sooner? Amy

and see if there are other surgeons that are not so busy. I think it is terrible that he can not get to you, it makes me think will he get to you in the hospital after surgery to answer any post op questions you have, or will he be too busy?? Let us know how it goes, but look into another surgeon. Where are you located? Close to what big city? ~Julie
