Daily question: What are your goals? (more)
and it has been almost 10 months and I am in a size 14, but I wore a 12 out tonite!! I never did set a weight goal because I didn't have any idea what would be something I could acheive. My goal now, since surgery, is to be 159... according to my BMI that would make me average. I honestly would not care if I ever got under 170 though, I am so happy with the results of my WLS.
I'm hoping to be under 150, which at my height of only 5'2" still lists me with a BMI in the obese zone, but that is a bit over 150 lbs from today. Surgery is scheduled for this coming Tuesday, so time will tell.
Basically I would be happy to just loose enogh to get rid of my CPAP machine, and to be able to walk around with less pain. Can't get my knees fixed until the weight goes down. It would also be nice to be able to buy clothes by picking them according to what I like, not what they have that would fit.
Take Care, all

Just to be able to have the energy I once had would be great. But where vanity is concerned, I would be tickled pink to be able to shop "regular sizes" again instead of plus. My ultimate would be to be below my lowest adult weight of 150. When I achieved that, many years ago, it was a result of serious depression from a divorce. A bad time in my life in which I was very out of control and self-destructive. But now, I have a great husband and family, a super career, and would truly be able to appreciate and enjoy that kind of weight loss!
Here are two things I am actually PLANNING for when I meet my goal weight:
1. My husband and I are going to go to the Carribean (I don't care where- just beach and sun!)! BY OURSELVES-NO KIDS!!!
2. I am going to surprise my husband(hopefully he does'nt read this!) with a renewal of vows ceremony once I have lost 100#. We have been married going on 13 yrs.. Since my own wedding dress was a size 26, I am planning on buying one from Goodwill(I already checked it out and there are some GORGEOUS ones out there for about $50!!! I will invite family only and have a simple ceremony in a nearby park with just a potluck afterward. (I already took my husband to the little garden in that park just "to show him" and he thinks it's an awesome place too! My niece will make us a little wedding cake and I can get fresh flowers from HyVee for about $3 a bunch. I would LOVE to tool around in a rented convertible(neither of us has never done that) So not a lot of money will be spent but I am good at making do with hardly nothing, nevertheless will make it a very memorable event! I can't wait! It gives me a "project" to shoot for!
