Looking for surgeon in Cedar Rapids area

I am in the Cedar Rapids area and want to find a doctor here that I can go to for Lapband surgery.   Would anyone like to share the name of theirs?  Thank you.

I live in Marion and will have my surgery in Cedar Falls. Nov 9th
Dr Glas**** has seminars every month.
Amy lives in springville and had Dr glas**** also
Sept 2.
Lisa lives in Troy Mills she went to Iowa City
to have her surgery,
So it depends on where and whom you are comfortable
with.

I went to Iowa City and had Dr. Jamal.  I cannot say enough positives about my experience.  The whole bariatric team is awesome!!  The consult appointment was very informative and they took so much time with me at that appointment.  My surgery and recovery were smooth as silk and I had no pain.............and I mean no pain at all!  Debi, Amy, Lynn, Dr. Jamal and all the nurses are just wonderful...........professional, caring and totally interested in helping you.  Go talk with them because you are under no obligation to go there if after talking with them you change your mind.  As I said, I have nothing but postives to say about my experience there.

I too had Dr. Jamal...but I had RNY.  And my husband had Dr. Samuel for his RNY.  Both are at UIHC.  Both of us had great experiences there.  I was supposed to have Dr. Samuel, but our schedules conflicted.  So I switched to Dr. Jamal because he could get me in before school started.  I agree that they are all very professional and respectful.

I went to Dr Hodges in Cedar Falls at Sartori. He is in the same office as Dr Glas**** Great Dr, I highly recommend him!
