I am from Brooklyn, IA and go to Grinnell also.  So far I haven't had any problems.  They won't let you set up an appointment?

Ive only heard bad things about Grinnell....sorry to hear you are having a hard time....I hope you can get the help you need.  If not, I suggest calling the bariatric dept at UIHC, they are awesome and I am sure they will take your call and help you in any way they can.  Good luck with everything!

I am a grinnell patient.  Loved the hospital, loved the staff, and loved my doctor.    159 pounds less and feeling great.  Always was able to talk to the nurse and then she would relay my questions on to Stephanie or Dr. Coster.  Always got an answer back.    The doctors are not always in house, but the nurses, believe me they are there to help you!

And actually I chose Grinnell because it was such an excellent place to have the surgery done.

I went thru Mason City's Bariatric Center and love them.  I have a girl friend that went thru Grinnel and absolutely loved them!  She would totally recommend them to anyone.
