Hey everyone!  Well today is my 2 month "surgiversary"! Once again I cant believe how quickly time is going by!  So many things have changed since surgery!  I officially hit ONEderland today!!!!! So excited about that.  The last 3lbs were quite the struggle and I was beginning to wonder if I would ever see a "1" as the first number on the scale, but finally this morning I did!! Whew!!  I can now cross my legs while sitting in the car...still not quite as good as I would like to, but crossed non-the-less, so I will celebrate it!  Ive been going through my closet and eliminating clothes that I can no longer fit into, I have 4 piles which will probably fill 3 garbage bags of clothes to get rid of!! I need to update a few things, like capri pants and some new shirts as I only have t-shirts right now.  Im on the "General Diet" now also.  I have been doing well with my foods.  I journal them everyday to make sure Im getting enough protein in and not too many calories.  Does anyone else do this?  I am  63lbs down Total since the beginning of my journey in October and 38lbs down since surgery.  Only 2 more lbs to 40, which is right around 20lbs a month so far, so thats not too shabby!! I only have a little over 60 more lbs to go to reach MY goal, so Im about half way there.  (I hope i wont have to re-adjust my goal but my surgeon says I should be able to get to 120 easily, im shooting for 135/130ish at this point)  :):):)
Well thats all for today, anyone else have anything exciting to share??
Stay warm everyone, its snowing again!?!?!  I thought it was spring now??

~Jenn

Jenn,

It sounds like  you are doing great! I've heard a lot of post-op patients mention "getting in their proteins".  Is that difficult?  I'm still in the pre-op phase (I have 5 more monthly visits to go with my internist, before I can be referred to a surgeon).  Congratulations on your weight-loss so far, you make it sound so easy!

Way to go, Jenn!!  I am happy for you that you made it to "onederland".  It has to be a great feeling to be there and I'll be joining you there someday myself.

Even though we got the snow, spring is in the air................robins are all over the place and that's a sure sign that spring is here.

Hope everyone is doing well and staying focused on their journey.

Hi There!  I was just searching OH for others who were 2 moths out....  Looks like you would be almost 4 months out now - hope you are still doing great!

It was great to read your accomplishments.  I am just over 2 months out and wanted to see how I compare to others.  My surgon did not give me a weight goal - which I completely undersand, but I also think it is good to know if I'm on track or not.  Anyway...I've lost 67 lbs to date, 40 lbs post op.  Sounds pretty close to where you were @ 2mo.  I'm feeling great and wish I would have done this long ago!   :0)

Good luck to you....
