I'm glad everything went well for you!  Keep up the good work!

I had to sleep in a recliner for 5 days after I got home before I felt comfortable enough laying down to sleep.  And as for gaining weight during--I gained 11 pounds of fluid in the hospital and I assure you it drops right back off!

Keep us all updated!

Hi Jenny,
I had lap RNY the 21st, so we were in the hospital at the same time!
The first night I was home I slept propped up on the couch, no recliner here:( The next night I was so tired, I just wanted to sleep in my own bed, so I walked up the stairs and got in bed.

I thought the stairs would make me hurt, but they don't. Hopefully you'll be able to sleep flat soon, it does help. And so does the heating pad, I've used it on my incisions a few times.

Take it easy on yourself though, you DID just have surgery.
