Any one from the Muscatine Area?

 Hello, this is my first post here.  I from Muscatine Iowa, and found this site while researching WLS.  Can anyone give me any information on any support groups available near me?  I found one that the U is hosting November 4, but it says it is a round table discussion.  I didn't know if that would be a good one for someone who is just in the process of finding out about and researching their options.  Any help and advice would be soo appreciated.  Thanks so much!

Hi Lori- I'm a ways from Muscatine (Independence). I'll be having my surgery in Cedar Falls on Nov 6th. I went to an informational meeting when I first started researching WLS. It was actually required in the whole process. You might check with surgeon's offices to see if they have something like this? Or you could always travel to Cedar Falls!
