Principal- Midlands Choice IA

Does anyone have this insurance? Is there a way around the 6 months of doctor supervised diet?

I have Principal but it's only managed care for my employer.  There is generally no way to get around the supervised diet.  My insurance requires a 12 month supervised diet that I am trying to get around.  They are in the process of changing the requirements so I'm seeing if that will help me out and they may consider me without that requirement.  Good luck! I read some posts in California that they are able to get around it I am holing there is a way to get out of it here.
