title 19 question

Has anyone that has title 19 (cedar rapids area) been able to get the surgery? What all do you need? I am 5'6 and 356lbs. I have high blood pressure, diabetes, arthirutis in my knees and of course get short of breathe when I walk.

Yes they do approve it. You need to find a surgeon that they will pay for. You WILL NEED a 6mos doc. supervised diet. Psyche eval, nutritionist visit. Not sure how long it takes for the approval.

University of Iowa takes Title 19.  I lady that went through the program when I did was on it, so I know they accept it. SHannon
