question for people that have had surgery
I really didn't need much while at the hospital--I slept and enjoyed being taken care of for a change! The one thing I was really glad I had when while at home was long-handled tongs. I didn't have to bend to pick stuff up off the floor or get out of the chair to reach stuff. I also was glad to have purchased the DietMinder books to track my compliance and weight loss. That was great. And I was glad I had a food scale (once into the real food stage).
Good luck with the journey!

Hi, Thressa!
You're in good hands with Dr. Eibes. He used to work with Dr. Coster in Grinnell (my hometown) - they are both fabulous surgeons!
I would recommend this product for your hospital stay (and after):
