Gall bladder removal

I got the date for my next surgical adventure.  10-18 I am having my gall bladder removed.  I spent last Friday night in the ER thinking I was having a heart attack and pretty sure I was dying.  Come to find out I have an enlarged gall bladder full of stones.  YIKES!   I thought I had escaped and would not be a statistic with others that I have heard about after WLS.  Not so lucky here! 

 Oh Lisa. I so feel for you. I actually had mine out before WLS, however, I do remember the pain and it is terrible. Mine stopped working completely I guess and so they just took it out. Not to painful. Just a couple of holes and that was it. Is Smolick doing your surgery? Good luck and I hope that you feel better once it is done. Stephanie

Yes Smolik will do this one as well.  I didn't hesitate to automatically assume he woudl be the one.  I know I am in good handsm he did good work on me with my RNY
