Anyone had a tummy tuck?

I just had a tummy tuck 3 weeks ago and am still pretty swollen. Dr. says that I am healing fine and that it just takes time. I can't get into any jeans yet were too big for me before the surgery. Any words of wisdom? Thanks, Sheila

Patience.  Sorry, but there isn't much we can do to reduce the swelling and speed healing.  My surgeon said the swelling would be there for about two months, but I've read others saying theirs lasted six.   Sorry, Sally
