Looking for a support group in DSM area

I am starting my 5th week out from RNY.   Had my surgery done in IL.  I am  hoping to find a support group here in DSM. Does anyone have any info? Sharen

Hello welcome to Des Moines. This is the support group that I attend. Post Date: 4/19/07 7:57 am Iowa Health-Des Moines Bariatric Support Group Schedule 2007 Our support group is open to all. We meet from 10-12 at 1211 Vine Street Building 2000 in West Des Moines. To get to the support group, take the 8th Street exit off of I-235. Go south on 8th street to Grand Ave. Turn right on Grand and go about 1 mile to Vine Street. Turn left on Vine and go about 0.5 miles to 1211 Vine. The building will be on the left. Proceed to the second building on top of the hill. It is building 2000 and go into the main entrance. We will have signs posted.
