I'M APPROVED!!!!!!!!!

jUST HAD TO TELL EVERYONE THAT I WAS APPROVED FOR LAP BAND.  dR g'S OFFICE SUBMITTED INFO TO INSURANCE ON JUNE 18 AND BCBS OF IOWA APPROVED IT ON JUNE 20.  SURGERY DATE IS JULY23.  I HAVE ALREADY WENT AND BOUGHT MY GAS X , LIQUID TYLENOL, SF JELLO, BENEPROTEIN, CHEWABLE AND LIQUID CENTRUM VITAMINS, LOOSE FITTING CLOTHES TO WEAR HOME, BOULION, ORANGE JUICE AND TOMATO JUICE (HAVE TO DRINK 8 OZ OF EACH PER DAY FOR POTASSIUM), MAGIC BULLET MIXER AND A COUPLE OF OTHER THINGS.  I THINK I NEED TO GET JUST A COUPLE MORE THINGS AND I WILL BE SET.  CAN ANYONE THINK OF ANYTHING I WILL NEED THAT IS NOT LISTED.  I WILL BE GETTING MY PAIN MED SCRIPTS BEFORE HAND AND HAVE THEM FILLED AND WAITING AT HOME FOR ME.  26 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I CAN'T WAIT.  I AM SCARED, EXCITED, NERVOUS, ANXIOUS AND ABOUT EVERY OTHER EMOTION THERE IS ALL ROLLED INTO ONE.  I CAN'T WAIT TO JOIN THE REST OF YOU LOSERS IN THIS JOURNEY!!!!

Congrats to you! I am still waiting approval but they did say it was looking good and they will as soon as they have the psych eval dictation on file.  I just gotta hold on til then.  I am getting the rny though.  Good luck on the lapband and  keep me posted.  :))

Congratulations!  I am 3 days before you!  I can't wait.

Congratulations!  I know how excited you must be!  My surgery is scheduled for July 16th - one week before yours.  I found out on June 7th (which seems like a lifetime ago.....lol). Sounds like you've got your list of things!  I've got my shopping list all ready and will be getting everything this next week when I'm on vacation.  Yep, I decided to take some vacation time before I had to take sick time.....lol We'll both soon be "losers" and I can't wait! Good luck with your surgery and recovery.  Congrats on the vacation before sick time.  I am leaving on vacation the 4th of July through the 8th of July and then I start a 2 week liquid diet starting on the 9th.  Times my vacation so that I would be back home in time to start the liquids.  UUUGGGHHHHH.
