Going througha rough time

I am going through the worst time of my life right now. I have a feeding tube in for the 3rd week and the jackson pratt tubes for 3 weeks also. very painfull they smell the )(jpt) and cant eat anything just some water so they can make sure the leak will heal . I am so scared to eat when I finally do get the chance so I dont have to go through surgery for the 3rdtime. I thought I could be starting my weight loss but not untill everyything is out I am so depressed has anyone gone through this or anything like it at all Im just scared ill even talk to ya by phone you can call my cell its 319-470-0133. someone help me?

Hi Denise, I had a leak also after the 2nd surgery I wouldn't drink or eat the DRS tried to get me to I just couldn't my first 2 months weren't good but after that I slowly started to drink and eat better I actually gained weight after surgery but that was being in the hospital for like 21 days lots of fluid retention but I have lost 161 pounds so far. I had my surgery may of 2005. Things will get better I had no fear to try to eat after my leak. Give it time you will heal it just takes time. Thank you Lavonda that does make me feel a little better all I do is cry all the time and dont know what gonna happen next. I hope I feel better once the leak is gone. Next Friday will be 4 weeeks. Im a so tired of the jptubes and the feeding tubes but sometime its got to get beter I hope thank you sweetie
