What food stage are you at now? A couple of things that worked well for me were the canned Corned Beef mixed with a little sour cream, a little onion powder and garlic powder and eaten either hot or cold. Warm stuff up in the micro to make mixing easier. (I used to make this as a sandwich spread when I was pre-op) Also the thin sliced meats like Carl Buddig is one name brand, but the generics are just as good. Both of those things, you have to watch the salt though. String cheese, peanut butter, eggs (whites are where most of the proteins are located. I just cook the whites anymore.) Alot of it will depend on what stage. Sorry if these are not where you are at yet. Let us know and I bet we can come up with more ideas. Keep up the great work! Elizabeth

Steve, we are the same time frame and I am eating cottage cheese, string cheese, deli meats (u can buy already diced ham and turkey in the meat section by Hillshire Farms I think). eggs, refried beans, soups (chili mainly just the soup and beans, Potato and Ham soup and cheddar cheese soups). I've also tried some other things that are soft and pliable and easy to chew up a million times. I wouldnt be eating any hard meats (red meat) yet. Janine

I ate a ton of shrimp the first two or three months. I bought the frozen cooked kind. just put however many I wanted in a bowl at night and left in the fridge. By lunch time, they were thawed and ready to eat.
