I HAVE A DATE!

Hi Everyone, Susan called me today with the date of Nov. 7th. I will consider it a belated birthday present since my birthday is the 3rd. I am pretty nervous but I think I will be ok. Does anyone know when they have you buy the software that is $150 through Mercy, I do need to plan for that.

I think you do it at your pre-op visit. You pay the lady in the financial office. I didn't buy the program because frankly, I don't like being forced to spend what I thought was an unreasonable amount of money, just to have to download stuff onto my hard drive. My surgery was almost two years ago, so perhaps it is new and improved by now. But at that time, I asked around to people who had surgery before me, and the feedback I got from people led me to believe that it was not worth the money and that basically it was a hassle. So, I said no. What were they going to do, cancel my surgery? Like I said, maybe it is much better now, since the WLS program is not new there anymore. I don't want to dissuade you from something that could be very beneficial for you possibly. jean

Tabatha, Great news on the date. You pay Marilynn on your pre op last pre op visit a week or so before surgery. Keep us posted on your progress. Deanne
