I was approved.

Hi Everyone! I called my insurance company today about payment on an EOB. To my surprise I found out I was approved for surgery already. Melody from Mercy just faxed it in last Thursday and the lady on the phone stated they sent my letter out on Monday for approval. Needless to say I was flood. So I called Melody at Mercy and they were trying to set my surgery up for this month already, so I had to tell her I wasn't ready for that so we are looking at November. I just can't believe how fast it all went for me. But alot of it was my doctor, Dr. Clor, he knew alot of the tests I needed so they were done before I even had my RN visit. Now I really need support, I am excited, very nervous and even scared. This message board and website overall as helped me alot so thank you everyone.

Congratulations!! Any date you get will be there before you know it but it is all worth it in the long run. I am newly pre-op and I have a different outlook on most things now. If you have any questions feel free to email me and I would be more than happy to help. You'll be on the losing side before you know it. Keep us posted. Congrats again!

Congrats. This is great!!! There is a support group meeting next Tuesday at the hospital if you can make it they help a lot. Good luck with your up coming surgery!!
