Still making it..
well I'm still alive after two days at home. Today though has been the worse! I think I did too much yesterday and am paying for it today. I progressively had alot more drainage out of my JP Drain yesterday and last night I drained 60 ccs (at 11:30) and this morning at 7:30 there was 70 ccs. I was told by my friend I'm not doing anything today. I'm not use to just laying around and this is going to be hard. I do have to get up and do my walking but I guess thats all I'm allowed to do. I woke up this morning with such extreme pain in my side that I couldnt even make it to the kitchen to get my pain meds. I went and laid back down with an ice pack and I am doing better now. I think it will be sooo much better with the drain gone but I bet they wont take it out if I'm having to empty it 4 -5 times a day with 50 + ccs in it.
Well I hope all those that attended the walk are having fun and I'll be there next year!!!

The first three months are the worst. Hang in there is all anybody can say. Keep coming to the board and telling us your complaints, because it really does help. I feel crummy today too. I can't sleep in bed, and while I know it will be worth it in the end (you should see my awsome belly), it is hell getting there. We'll both make it.

I'm glad you did well with your surgery ! I'm 6 weeks post op and I still have some bad days when I just can't eat, and when I do I get so sick. I didn't have to have a drain, so I bet that really sucks. I pray you get better real soon. Every day will get better. The first few days are really tough. Even though I get sick alot, I have not regreted having the surgery at all. I know this is what I needed to get me on the road to better health. I know you went through a lot to get to this point. Hang in there. We are going to be doing a lot better soon. You take it easy. I thought after the third day I fealt so great, and I know I did to much. It will wear you out. You take good care of yourself !!!
