Thanks Mercy Support Group!

I would like to say thank you to everybody that was at the support meeting at Mercy Tuesday evening for making me feel comfortable while asking my questions. I felt pretty wierd at first being the only person at the meeting before surgery. However, everyone was so kind and offered alot of great information. I found it really cool to see alot of familiar faces that I recognized from this board. I have been reading for about 3 weeks now and this is the first time I have posted anything. Thanks again everyone!

Thisi s a big journey and you need to be as informed as you can. I attended support group meetings prior to my surgery and I think it helped me mentally prepare. Now that I have attended my first one tonight from the losing side, it is nice to see what I have to look forward to, or what problems I may encounter. Good luck in your process, time will go fast!
