The time is ticking away, quickly. Do I have everything done? What do I need to take with me to the hospital. How am I to concentrate at work when all I can think about is this surgery. Good thing I have things planned this week. Maybe the time will pass quickly. Thank for listening, and thanks for all the info you guys have giveninthe past. It makes this journey so much easier!

Lisa, I'm sure the time will FLY BY!!! The next you'll know it will be Monday morning and they will be wheeling you into the surgery room! I can't wait to be in the same boat as you!! Janine

I bet your so excited. It is hard to concentrate at work the last few days. Is your last day at work Friday? I had my surgery on a Tuesday also and I stayed home that Monday. The one thing I would recommend to take is your pillow. I didn't use it to much at the hospital but it helped to put over my stomach for the ride home. Good luck and I will keep you in my prayers!!!

My experience has always been that I take twice as much stuff as I need. I never bother anymore with a book. I just can't seem to concentrate after surgery. Must be the drugs. Just take a robe, slippers, footies for in bed, chap stick, and toiletries. This sounds gross but if you are large enough to have problems wiping now, you will really have problems after surgery. Take a wooden spoon to wrap the toilet paper around. I was considered a light weight and I had problems but didn't know about the wooden spoon trick.

Lisa I have some good advice for you....gentlemen, please don't read this....Lisa, here is what you need most of all.....PADS, because I promise, you will start your period. The supplies the hospital provides are less than adequate, so bring your own. jean
