Hi Everyone
Hey Carolyn ~~ it's good to see you back. I've been reading, but not doing much posting. It seems like lots of us have disappeared from the boards ~~ I mean those of who are farther out. I'm struggling with the weight gain myself....
Are you still really busy with your job & dad? Good to hear from you

Hey there! Missing you--let's talk or get together. I go back to work next week but will make time for you!! Do you plan on going to the next support group meeting, I am going to try.
I am a new grandma, my daughter had her baby a month early (June 5th), so I have been spending as much time with them as I can. (This also makes Dixie and new great Aunt!! Her sister that is in the hospital is the baby's Great Grandma).
Hope all is well with you and yours, let me know when your kido has a game and I try to make it there.

Hi Carolyn:
Don't know if you remember me, we posted back and forth on this board a while back. I am 2 1/2 years out now, and I am struggling with a slight regain too. I am up about 10 lbs from my lowest. I am 20 lbs from where I want to be. I exercise regularly, so a little might be attributed to muscle, but not all of it!! I find I can eat most anything now, and larger quantities. I know my tool has done it's job, now it's up to me too do a little work, darn!!! Did you ever go for a plastics consultation? I am currently waiting to see if my insurance will cover a TT. I'm not holding my breath, but stranger things have happened!! I have also been awol for a long time, good to see you on the board again!! DeeAnn R

I have been absent as well. I check in and read but haven't posted for a long time. I am in the same boat as you. My two year check should have been in June but different things have gotten in the way, so my appoitment is next week. I am worried about explaining the 10 lb increase. (Personally, I know exactly where it comes from So I am back to journaling and "trying" to be good. Eating is not the problem for me, it comes down to "non-essential" liquids.
My problem is I can eat and drink most anything without severe consiquences. So it is up to me to make this right again. What I struggle with is I don't want to be a slave to a "diet" so I need to find the balance between watching what I do and obsessing over every little thing. I was doing so well, then as I allowed my life to get over extended (making up for lost time--doing ALL those things I could not do before) the stress and pressure of it all got to me and I coped with some bad habits.
So, now I pledge to myself and all of you. I will get back on track! The plan is simple:
1. Log all things that go into my mouth
2. Non-essential items are a "treat" and must be earned and very infrequent
3. Back to the basics, Protein, Water, and Exercise
4. Use my support system so stress has less chance of being overwhelming
It is good to be back, I will try to be a little more present.

Good to see you back. I was getting ready to email both you and Jesi to see where you guys had disappeared to! I think most of us that are out at least 2 years are struggling a bit right now. I've gained and lost 6 pounds over and over since May. GRRRRR. Still about 8 from goal. I was up 3 at my 2 yr check and he was quick to point that out. But then said it just may be where my body wants to be. Well, it isn't where I want my body to be so I'm back at it. I had hand surgery 3 wks ago so haven't been able to exercise much. Monday I'm back to the gym.
Check in more regularly! I've missed you!
