Yahoooooooo I got my surgery date

Yeeeeehawww I got my surgery date today. I have my surgery on the 21st of this month. I am ready to rock and roll LOL. I am excited and can't wait to get it over with. Even though I am supposed to start back college that week. Oh well I will miss a couple of classes no big deal.

Congratulations! That's not very far away.

I'm not trying to rain on your parade, but please prepare yourself for the worst and rejoice when it turns out otherwise. Don't be too sure of only missing a class or two. I had the lowest risk factors in the world, and expected to sail right through my WLS, but I ended up sick for SEVEN MONTHS with complications. Most people do just fine, but just keep in mind to expect the unexpected. jean

Congrats on the surgery date Tamara. You will be on the losing side in no time. I know the first couple of weeks or so I was very tired. Didn't feel like doing much of anything. I also couldn't concentrate on things. I am a old lady (47) so maybe that's why it took alot out of me. I was also VERY cold alot. Cindy

Congrats Tamara! I am also attending college and my fall term starts August 28th. I'm taking 3 classes and two of them are online so I hopefully wont miss too much. I'm taking easy classes this fall just in case I miss too many nights. I should find out my surgery date this week!!!!!!!
