HOME SWEET HOME

Surgery Thursday 07/20/2006. I got home Saturday everything is going very good. It is hard to grasp that it has finally - really happened. I am a bit tired but other than that no big complaints. Pain is minimal I am not using any pain medication at this point. My incisions look good. What more could I want. Well maybe to lose 125 lbs. The best to all.

Congratulations Brenda! Glad things went smoothly. Listen to your body and rest when you need it. The next few weeks concentrate on learning how to treat your new pouch. Hope the rest of your recovery goes as well as surgery! Jan Marie

Thanks for the support! I am still trying to figure out how to get all my protien and liquids in. I keep thinking I want to go back to work next week but I know I need the time to adjust and get a handle on all the changes. Thanks again, Brenda

Glad to hear that you are home and everything went well!!! Don't forget to rest and remember you have a life time to work and just a few days to rest. So make sure your ready to go back to work before you do. The first few weeks or so are the hardest so take it easy. Congats!!!!
