I'm home!

I had my surgery around 1:00 on Monday and got discharged at 9:30 last night. It feels so good to be home. They had problems getting my blood pressure up for about the first 24 hours after surgery. Not sure what caused that but they really pumped me full of fluids. They weighed me yesterday and I was up 9 pounds, but I expected that. Hopefully I can get rid of it pretty quick. Right now, pain meds are my friend! It's been a little more painful than I expected, but other than that everything is good. I'm not having any problems getting in the water and I have no desire to eat anything. I never thought that would happen.

Great news....home and all is going well! Tha****er weight is a shocker isn't it......I too knew about it going into surgery.......but when you actually see the numbers on the scale while in pain........it sucked!!!! Great news about the fluids going down easy.....I also could drink really well right out of surgery, which is great because pushing those fluids is WAY important!!!! Take Care and keep us updated
