How is everyone this week?

Anyone got any good plans this week? How you all doing? Boy it is chilly this morning........I love it being able to have the windows open and air off! But the girls hate it, they want to be at the pool 24/7!!! I have been keeping busy with the house and kids. I thought summer would be a nice break. With soccer, swimming, softball, library programs & friends and the pool we are swamped. I wish the weekends would last longer. I didn't get 20miuntes to myself to just relax. I need a whole day of vegging soon or I am gonna be fried!!!! This week looks just as busy and the weekend even worse. Friday night we are heading to Charles City for the weekend. My class reunion is Sat/Sat night. We will come home Sunday night probably and hit the park most of Monday to make sure we have a good spot for fireworks Monday night. WE have a really good fireworks display here in DBQ with an airshow and everything. Then Tuesday we are invited to a friends for a 4th of July party, and then it is back to the hussle and bustle of the next week.....I am already tired just thinking about We normally stay in C.C. for their fireworks cause they have a weeklong celebration and the kids love it....but we can't this year due to schedules. SO thats all that I am up to. This rain sure is nice, our lawn was getting awfully crunchy! Plus we had transplanted some evergreens and planted some new prenannuals(sp) so we needed the rain. I hope everyone has a GREAT week with exercise, good food choices, vitamins, and all the good stuff I am gonna try my hardest!!! Take Care jesi

Good morning Jesi. You are one busy gal. I am going into my last night of 5 (12 hr shifts.) I don't know what day it is most of the time. Then I have tues. and wed. nights off. I need the rest and my house sure needs cleaning. My dh has reminded me he need's some 'hubby time'. I may just be able to fit him in, lol. Have a great day, Cindy

By now your hopefully enjoying your couple days off. I love how hubby's "need" their time or what not.....I "need" the house cleaned, the bills paid, the kids watched, and a STINKIN nap......ROFL........but of course it isn't gonna happen!!!! Wow Jesi it sure sounds like you have a busy summer!!! This week is going to be a short work week. I have Wednesday thru Wednesday off!! I'm so excited!!! I'm having a garage sale this weekend and have a lot of cloths to sale and I have to get that ready.So anyone in the Des Moines area interested in coming just send me an e-mail and I'll let you know where it is going to be at!! My MIL just got in town today and is staying for a month!! HELP. Good thing she is not staying with me the whole time, just a week or I would go crazy. We are also going to take them to adventureland on Sunday and the garage sale is going to be Friday and Saturday. So I have a busy week ahead of me. I'm not sure what we are going to do for the 4th of July yet. Maybe have a grill out at my house and use the new pool. The water is still pretty cold so I hope we get a few more hot days here. I have 1 more pound to loss to get to goal so I hope that comes off by my 1 year appointment on July 12th. Hope everyone has a good week. Melissa 337/171/170

I'm just wandering around in a haze with all that's going on. My sister is still in ICU, except now she's on a ventilator. I heard today though that she is doing most of the breathing on her own so maybe they'll take her off soon. I'm heading down to IA City tomorrow so see how she's doing & hopefully get something out of the doctors. Now that she is in this ICU the family rarely gets to talk with the doctors, something we got spoiled about when she was in the other ICU, where we were allowed to be in her room all the time. There's 5 teams of doctors working on her. You'd think we'd see some of them. My job is being a real pain. I learned on Friday that I will have to postpone my schooling as they are insisting on giving a 60 day notice & school starts on July 10. I called Hamilton & they are willing to let me start in October instead. I'm gonna be really mad if I'm still working in October. My holiday plans are up in the air. We usually don't do much anyway. I am so sorry to hear about your sister Dixie. I will say an extra prayer for her Hopefully everything works out with the work/school thing too......I can see why your in a haze tho, I hate feeling like I have no control over my life. Same old stuff this week except tomorrow I go see my WLS doc for my 2 yr checkup (only a month and a half late). He'll tell me I've gained wt. DUH. But I've lost 2# since last week! It sure is a struggle to lose now. And I've really been pretty good. We get off work Friday at 1 and don't go bac****il the 5th! That's pretty nice. We didn't get a day off for New Year's since it was on a Sunday but then got the 3rd off instead. I have to take the car in for an oil change then Sat after we drop the dog off at the kennel, we're going to Omaha for the weekend to visit some friends of my hubby's from college days. Monday and Tuesday I might paint my bedroom if I can finally decide on a color. Then the next weekend, I'm going to meet Jesi! That's all that's going on here. Lyn

WOW sounds like you have a lot going too.....we are all just a bunch of busy bee's! Good luck at the doctors appt......will they do labs and stuff too? I hear ya about the struggles with losing.....we are pretty much normal now, and losing weight is a pain again!!!! I love picking new colors out for walls.....(I am not allowed to paint-per hubby) but I love picking the stuff out for him to do!!!! My bedroom is a pale yellow and I have a border with yellow and blue flowers and then I decorated mainly with blue stuff. It sounds really weird, but it looks good, I love it. My fave room is my master bathroom. The walls are a really dark green and then my hubby tiled the shower and even did the grout a dark green. I got a dark green and mauve border and then the towels and shower curtain are green and mauve, I love that color scheme tho I think it would be way to bold for a whole big bedroom. I am itching to do a accent wall in my living room and basement.....me and hubby are just butting heads about the colors I will win soon enough Have a great time in Omaha and see ya the 8th Take Care jesi

Hello everyone its been awhile since I been on here I got a job so I been working and spending time with family this weekend im going back to clinton for Riverboat days they are going to have Forigner there cant wait to see them .
