I also hate snakes so I see why you have been trapped in your house. Sounds like you had a busy weekend.

Ok, I ususually am just a lurker but here is a post. I doing laundry, doing some light cleaning, and working on sorting more clothes to clean out our closet a little more. I honestly can't believe that I have given so many clothes away and still have so many left! I was hoping to make 100 pounds gone today but didn't quite make it. Made it to 99 pounds. Guess my body is on a little weight loss slow down. Think when the work is done I will chill out and just try to keep cool. Have a great weekend everyone.

Glad you came out of lurking mode and posted. It's always good to hear from everyone. You are so close to 100 pounds. Maybe this week will be the week that you make it. You are doing great!!! I know how it is with clothes. I'm having a garage sale June 30th and July 1st to get rid of a lot of clothes, and what I don't get rid of I will take to the goodwill. I have so much stuff to get rid of. Hope you had a good weekend!!

Hi Melissa, I thought I'd delurk since I'm here. My DH works weekend nights, so I'm here alone...with 4 kids under 5 until Tuesday!! And that's with 2 twin newborn girls! As for my weight loss, I am 16 lbs under goal! I was 158 lbs (2 lbs under goal) when I found out I was preggers in August. Today my girls are 8 weeks old and I weigh 144 lbs! I'm so happy. Now if I could just get a tummy tuck and breast lift I will be so very pleased! Hope everyone stays cool and dry...it's POURING here in Cedar Falls! Stephanie Mom to Alexis (4.21.02), Ty (8.8.03), and identical twin girls Addyson and Mackenzy (4.17.06)

I don't know how you do it. You are super MOM!!! I only have 1 child and she keeps me busy. I don't know how you do it. I just have to say you must be a great women. You have worked this tool wonderfully. 16lbs under goal WOW!!! I would love to have both a tummy tuck and breast lift, but I have to convince my husband that we don't want anymore kids before I can have either one done. Hope you had a great weekend.

Hello to all! I am at the start of my 8th week (tomorrow anyways) and so far I have lost exactly 60lbs! I am estactic! I absolutely love the feeling of trying to put on a pair of jeans that didnt quite fit right before surgery or didnt even come close at all, and they fit great!! It looks like I am going to have to go get my "skinny" jeans from my mother's house so I can have more clothes, I practically went through most of the sizes that I have at my house. I am now appreciative that I always knew that I would "get back into those clothes." Thats going to help with the checkbook over the next year. I haven't really went down on the top half though as much as I have on the bottom half. So far I have dropped 6 sizes on bottom and I still am the same size on top. Is that normal?? I am fine with it because Im sure that my breast will soon enough be at my knees so Ill take them where they are for right now, since I am only 23 and gravity isn't supposed to take place for awhile, but its definately worht it!!! I went to a family BBQ on my boyfriend's side last night and saw people that I hadn't seen since Christmas/before surgery and my BF's uncle "fell" to the ground when he saw me. I know that he was over exaggerting but it sure does still fee good!! it doesn't hurt that the beer had been flowing since noon (or maybe before)! They live on this farm south of Ottumwa and have their own pond/lake so everyone was jet skiing, tubing, knee boarding, etc and I cannot even wait til next summer when I am also doing that. I even said to my BF "you guys are going to have to rip me out of the water next year!!" Well since I've written a book I'll stop here. I need to take the dog on a walk and read the newspaper. I love sundays!!! My BF's sister hates that I dont have anything to do on Sundays. I will bask in this time since my BF is baby hungry and is talking about trying for the kids at the exact 18 month mark of my surgery but that is a whole other post in and of itself.

Darcy you are doing great. 60 lbs in 8 weeks is great. Are you going to the meeting tomorrow? Good thing you have clothes to shrink into. That will help save you some money!!! My husband is saying the same thing. He is just waiting for me to hit 18 months to have a baby. I really don't want anymore kids. I have 1 and that is good for me. I'm going to have him wait until at least 24 months out and then maybe by then I will want another one. But I don't think so. Just wait until next year you will be in the water the whole time. Keep up the good work!!

Man I wanted to see you. Hope you can go to a meeting sometime soon. I bet you are looking great!!! I love having the pool. I went swimming on Sunday afternoon. It was so hot out. It took me 2 hours to vacuume it out and clean it out, so by the time I was done I was sweating so much I had to get in.
