RN visit tomorrow
Hey Blake!!! Thanks for the info. They gave us a sheet yesterday with all the stuff that the Pharmacy at Mercy has now and they carry everything needed so I will probably get the stuff there, but not sure about the shakes. The nurse said I could get any kind (unjury, prostat, isopure) but I am just not sure what flavor. What flavor did u get? I dont want to get 12 lbs and not like the flavor.. ick

Hey guys. I found the sugar free Bugs Bunny vitamins at the Walgreen's on Fleur. I don't know if all of them carry them or just that particular one. I've tried the ready made Isopure and it wasn't bad. It's what I'm planning to use after surgery. It's sort of like watered down Kool Aid. I also bought some unflavored Unjury.
It is nice to read one post and catch up on everything I have tried the Ispopure and didn't care for it honestly But I am picky when it comes to my protien powders, and we all VARY so much. There are places you can go to and buy samples of all different sorts.....go check out bariatriceating.com The good thing with GNC is that if you absolutely HATE it, they will take it back with the reciept. But I could never find anything there that I liked.....but you might as well try, local is nice. Sherry W likes a walmart one and I too have heard that the one at Sam's is good, but I haven't tried them personally. Good luck......wishing you a smooth journey.....Take Care jesi
I have tried isopure and unjury, I like them both equally. The unjury packets are less protien than the isopure packets but also take only 8 ounces of water vs. twelve. I have been buying a variety pack of isopure here and there anticipating that my surgury will be in August. I also ordered a few sample packs from the unjury website to see if I liked it before I bought the canisters. They were fine so I ordered the canisters. I have found the Bugs Bunny Chewabler sugar free at Wal-mart. If you are an ebay junky like me I check on there for isopure and unjury and have found some great bargains. Just remember to check the expiration dates before you buy. Iam currently waiting on a shipment of the liquid b-12 that Susan recommends. I got such a good deal buying the case that I couldn't pass it up. I think I will have enough b-12 to last 400 years. I would be interested in sharing once i get my shipment. Having trouble finding the Femiron so I think I will have to get that from the Mercey Capital Pharmacy. By the way, Melanie was sending my request in to the insurance company this week, so keep your fingers crossed for me!
