Getting real
Okay, time to get real here. I have gained 6 pounds from my lowest wt which was 4 pounds from goal. I'm up about 4 from before vacation. Yesterday I really disgusted myself. We grilled brats (um) and I got chips and dip to go with. I ate so many chips I felt sick. I haven't even been tempted by the half a bag that's left today. So today I begin again. This wt will come off. I need to be accountable for every morsel that goes into my mouth. I will post every day what I ate. Feel free to blast me if I stray.
Today
Breakfast: Cinnamon Wt control Oatmeal with 1 T Polanar Peach All Fruit
Lunch: 4 oz cottage cheese 2 oz tomatoes
Double milk right before lunch
Snack: Pria Protein Bar
Snack: Mozzarella cheese stick
Supper: 1 C chili
If I don't have another snack, that will be 1023 calories. I'm going to try to stick to under 1200. There is a reason why I've gained. I just have to acknowledge that it's me not being in control of what goes into my mouth.
I WILL LOSE THIS WT!!!!! I will get to the gym more often. I will NOT weigh over 150 ever again. Anyone want to join me in this?

I must check in here more often. I miss all you guys.
I'm getting real again too. I am almost 18 months out and have always been 5-10 pounds from the ideal goal weight. I'd like to get that 10 off here right now, as I am awaiting insurance approval for a tummy tuck. I figure if I can lose that last ten, then there will be more skin to slice off my belly. This upcoming surgery gives me a real goal to shoot for and I feel a renewed motivation to work toward it. So, while I may not post everything I eat every day, know I am there with you. Exercise is not a problem for me. I walk or ride bikes, or play softball or something almost every day. It's the "no snacking" part of the rules that gets me. My husband just completed the Optifast program and he is watching his calorie intake too, so we agreed that if we eat popcorn, we can only do it if we split the bag with someone else in the family. No more bags to ourselves and no more bags at the ballfield from the concession stand.
Here is today's food:
Breakfast was half of a banana muffin at Starbucks (before I made the decision to get this last 10 pounds off)
Lunch was about 1 cup of dreamfiled pasta with lowcarb cheddar sauce on it and a small leftover grilled hamburger patty from last night's supper (no bun)
supper was one hard shell chicken taco at mexican restaurant and a few chips with salsa
late night snack was a protein bar (15 grams of protein)
No idea how many calories or grams of protein. Tomorrow I will track it all.
For exercise today I played softball with my kids and husband, we took a walk and jogged part of the way, and made whoopie . I know....too much information.....
