hernia??

Has anyone had a hernia post surgery? I am 1 year and 5 mo post surgery and tomorrow am going in to find out what this pain is. The nurse said it could be a hernia and that it can happen this far out after surgery. Would appreciate any comments on this. Rhonda

Rhonda, What did you come out with? What was your pain? Just checking since once in a while when I bend down or twist I feel a poping sensation in my side. Thanks

Sheila, I am relieved (and a bit embarrassed) to say that they determined that I was just very constipated. I have to say at first I thought it might be that but it had gone on for too long. Better safe than sorry! When I left the Dr's office, I told them I had just been missing them since I go in only once every 6 months or more now. They found that amusing since you get so familiar with them that it could have been true! Hope you are OK. Rhonda

Well that's good that it was nothing major and everything turned out well. I Know that constipated is not my problem!!! I've got a regualr check-up coming up, I can wait till then. Have a great day!!
