Still around.

just wanted to say hi to everyone and let them know I am still here lurking around. I am still recouperating from my ripped achilles tendon on 4/16. I had surgery on 4/20 and was on bed rest for almost 3 weeks (well as close to bed rest as I could..I'm not very good at sitting still hehehe). I've been in a cast for almost a month and I get that off next Monday and in a walking boot for a few weeks (? not sure) after that. I can't wait until I am somewhat back to normal. I really miss going for bike rides with my kids and walking..wow..I wish I COULD Unforntately due to the lack of exercise I have gained 10 lbs I hate that. I would rather stay where I am or lose. I had to reschedule my nurse visit at Mercy and I have it June 14th now. I can't wait! I guess they wont send in my insurance paperwor****il after that meeting. BTW Melissa.. YOU LOOK AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll try to be a little bit more noticeable. Janine

Thanks Janine. I was wondering were you had been. Wow June 14th is almost here. I'm so close to goal I'm at 172 lbs. 2 more to go to have a normal BMI. I bet you'll be glad to get that cast off. It has to be a pain in the butt!! I hope the nurse visit goes well and good luck.

Hi Janine. Glad to hear that things are going a little better for you and that the cast will be coming off soon. I too will be at the Mercy on June 14th with the nurse thing. Maybe then we can meet or something. Have you done the sleep study yet and all the other stuff they require?? Keep me posted and I hope to see you on June 14th at Mercy. Deanne
