I feel now that I am on my way...

Yesterday I had some good news as my PCP is going to write me a referral letter for me to go ahead with the surgery. I also have to find a new surgeon as the one I had picked out is no longer in my network for insurance providers so it is a small set back. I am attending a new informational meeting on Thurs Night to see if I like these surgeons and get the ball rolling there. I am so excited and nervous all at the same time.

Great news Small steps are better than none. I never did get my PCP to write me a letter-I know she wanted it for me.....but I think it was just there practice to NOT refer you out. I did it on my own. Where is the new surgeon at? Best of luck and keep us updated! Take Care jesi

The new surgeon is at Mercy Capital Hospital going to the informational meeting tomorrow night. I have 2 more weight ins with the PCP then the things that I need to do for the surgery then I am ready to go "start" my new life. Thanks for the encouragement. Deanne
