Thanks ALL! Brother is well. His surgery was risker because they found extreme scar tissue due to a old old bought with pancreatisis many years ago. So a three hour surgery took 8! Phew. He is going to be checked out of the hospital tomorrow and into a hotel nearby. Cannot fly home to Maui for a week yet.
Thanks for all your prayers and good thoughts. This is a wonderful place.

I answered this post the wrong way I think so whoever I did that to I am sorry...I live in cold PA but have be to Hawaii around l3 times.....when I was there the last time for six weeks I bought my food from sams club and walmart...they both should have the sugar free sryup...they may have changed the name on the bottle but it is the same.....in walmart it is usually in the coffee dept. and in sams. well back around that section. but they are bigger bottles in sams, and cheaper too........well aloha.......I am jealous that you are there and I am here....maybe the next time we get to come over we can all meet up or if there is a post opt meeting I'd love to attend...

I ended up here on the mainland getting my sugar free syrup at Sams club....they have a few small bottles in the coffee section in walmart...but the price is better at sams...in oaho,you can do both places at the same time....(you lucky people) as you can see I am envious........I in cold PA with 5 degree weather.....I don't know if I posted this right or not, new to this but I was answering the first question.........I also mix my protein powder and kahlua sugar free in my shake and tastes like a white russian.....(legal though)

You "sound" like you're in good spirits and that is perfect! I am so happy for you. I had a fatty liver, too, and Dr. C repaired my hiatal hernia while in there. I know what you mean about the anesthesia. I remember the IV and then a total blan****il I was in my room! Amazing stuff, huh?!!!
Keep sipping and walking (VERY IMPORTANT!!) and you'll be feeling fantastic in no time! Enjoy your journey and know we're all here for you!
