Hello all,
Had my follow up with Dr. Fowler and am going for my first fill tomorrow.  Have found that I can not eat chicken every time I do I get the slime or PB.  Not sure what to expect with the fill but I trust Dr. Fowler and will leave it up to him and God.  Hope everyone is doing well and will keep everyone posted. Hi Friends!! I hope everyone is doing well in the great state of Hawaii.  A friend of mine writes a blog and she posted some pictures of the Koolaus from a hike she took last weekend and I am really dreaming of coming back to Hawaii.  Texas is home and where my family is but I am missing all my support friends.  I miss Dr. Fowler too.  I had my appointment with Dr. Davis this morning.  Some of you might have heard of him he is the doctor from the tv show Big Medicine.  He is really nice so that is good.  I was very comfortable with him.  He isn't Dr. Fowler though.  I got a fill today as well.  That was good.  I went in and he asked how my restriction was and I said I could use a fill and he said let's do it.  I hate fill days cause I can't eat anything.  Drinking liquid is tough too but I am sure I will survive.  This usually happens to me on the day of a fill and then the next day I am all better.  Anyway just thought I would share that I had my appointment with a doc here and all went well.  Talk to you all soon!!!

I had my inital appt yesterday.  I got the referral,but I also found out that my Lupus maybe systematic not discoid.  I was an emotional wreck yesterday.  I called QMC and will take there class on the 10th of feb.  My Dr. feels that m surgery will not be covered because of my BMI.  It's actually 37.1. 

not enough for sugery... i would have to gain a little over 20lbs to get it! 

aghhhhh i'm frustrated, what should I do?

I'm looking forward to my soft food stage, all this liquid gets tired really fast as you know.
