Hi! I am going today for my first appointment with Dr. CIringle. Im nervous but really excited at the same time. I was wondering if anyone could think of any questions I should ask the doctor. I am super new to this and need lots of help!

when I visited oahu last nov. I went to the monthly support meeting held at the vets building behind the swap meet at the stadium,,,,the doctor who does the surgery in SF comes to each island once a month and meets there...they are a small group but very nice...in fact the dr. drove me and my husband back to waikiki to our hotel.......how long are you out? you can email me if you like...I am very active in the support groups here in PA.......I am out four years this coming [email protected]

Topic: Support Group Meeting Pahoa 9/24/10 - All Welcome

Anyone interested in weight loss, posto WLS, thinking about WLS, etc. is invited to a meeting at the Pahoa Bay Clinic, 5PM to 6:30PM on Friday, September 24, 2010.

The topic will be "Starting an Exercise" program but other concerns and questions will also be discussed.

This is patient-initiated support group (not affiliated with a medical practice). This will be our third meeting. We have a couple of post-RNY patients, several scheduled for WLS and some considering it.

The group is small for now but in the future we'd like to have a clothing exchange and other activities, depending on the needs of the group.

If you are interested, please send me a message so that I can give you more details. If you can't make this meeting but would like to be kept informed, let me know that, too.

Gosh, I haven't been on OH in a while so only now saw these photos. Thanks so much for posting them! I knew about the party but was unable to attend. You look so amazing and I'm so happy for your friend Mike, too! This is awesome!

Topic: Reasonable fills for lap band?

I had an emergency surgery after 5 years to flip my port over so they could unfill me after 4 days of not being able to eat or drink. I can not afford $300 to fill it, it took 13 trys in 2 years to get it right...lol

Anyone know of any other fill options on Oahu or Maui that are cheaper? I am desperate, I have gained 11 pounds in 6 weeks so far.
