Hi, I can't answer your question, but I wanted to welcome you to Hawaii! I live on Oahu but I love Maui and would move there in a second if my work was there... Topic: New to Maui...

Hi all- I just moved to Maui about 2 weeks ago. I had my surgery in July 2006 and am down appx. 67 lbs.I started at 234 and am now at 167. I feel great, and for the first time am actually wearing a bikini in public. Don't get me wrong, I kno I still have 20-25 lbs. to lose, but it sure is a great feeling. Anyway, my question to you all is this...does anyone know of a lap-band doctor on Maui? Or am I going to need to find someone on Oahu? I had a slight adjustment prior to moving from the mainland and I can now tell that I need to have just a small fill.

Any information anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, I'm hardly on here but thought I'd hop in here to see if there's any new posts. Anywhoo, one of my favorite stores is Blue Ginger at Ward Warehouse...I would never pay regular price, but be sure to checkout the sale rack in the back of the store. There's other stores at Ward Warehouse that carry larger sizes...I think Calista by Cotton Cargo carries sizes for the full figure (but be ready to pay the price). And as mentioned before by other board members, Macy's Woman, Sears , WalMart, K-Mart and Ross'. Macy's Woman carries Roca Wear...love it! Good luck!!
