Had a really bad experience.

I went to a ob/gyn specialist and the doctor told me that I would need to lower my weight. I told him that I was considering bariatric surgery. He then proceeds to degrade and humiliate me...

1. He told me women like me are in denial about weight
2. He said that we think we eat like a bird when in actuality we eat more than the 3 average people.
3. He asked if I ever seen the looks I may get from others at the table when I sit down with my big portions.
4. He said that women like me aren't serious about losing weight otherwise obesity wouldn't exist.

WHAT AN @$$HOLE! I was almost in tears... I have never met this man before.

I told him, I keep it real. I don't sugar coat what I put in my mouth. I know I don't like to excercise. I told him he has no idea what it is to suffer from obesity as it is a disease. I am not in denial... I wear conservative clothes. I'm not an overweight girl who wears hoochie clothes and let's it all hang out...

He just smirked and winked his eye... He knew he got to me. I left.

I came home and told my husband... He was furious. He was going to call the Doctor himself. I told my husband not to go there...

It's been bothering me ever since.... I can't function because my mind eventually trails to this scene. I just pray that this memory will be forgotten and that I can forgive.

For now, all I can do is hug my husband because I can feel nothing but love when he holds me... Can't wait for bariatric surgery...

We had a busy day today also... Car shopping- BLAHH... we went to like 17 dealerships...and still no car...i am pooped! Putting the car seat into all the diffrent cars we test drove took alot out of me...

Anyone knows what is Potassium CHloride?  What is that for?  Do we eat banana's if we are low on potassium?

Thanks for thinking of me even if it is in the stalker way.  It always feels good when people think of me.  Well yup my day is tomorrow to see the shrink.  I hope I get the ok.  I did my final sleep test on Wed. and everything went well I hope.  Next week Friday I am going to call Dr. Fowlers office to see if I can get a surgery date.

BTW lay off the cigs.  I think you are suppose to be 2 months clean.  I am only thinking of your health you can always start after however why bother you need your lungs to work so you can excersize right.  Have a great Aloha Friday!
