The one I use is Fisol by Nature's Way. It's a softgel and about the size of a small jelly bean.... all round and smooth so it tends to go down easily.

I have not had surgery with her but have heard wonderful things about her.

I was pleasantly surprised today when I got an email from Nicole today on Thankgiving of all days!  Yippee!  I can't beleive how much better I feel with just one short email.   I am thankful!

 She answered my questions and hopefully will get a call sometime this weekend to set up a consultation with Dr. C. for the 6th.  One of my questions was if it would be possible to have my surgury in January and she said that it was.   It'll all depend on how quickly I can get approval from HMSA.  I am a little concerned about submitting for major surgery when I've had HMSA for all of a couple of days.  As far as I know there is no waiting period but then again I could be wrong.
Anyway, I now feel that things are on the move.  Hopefully, with the grace of God, I'll be on the losers bench in a few months!

I called the San Francisco office yesterday and I did get to speak to Lauren.  She is wonderful.
She answered some of my questions but I still needed to speak with Nicole to get a surgery consultation with Dr. Cirangle when they come to Oahu for the support group.  She was going to
let her know what I needed and have Nicole call me back.   After I talked to Lauren I then went ahead and emailed Nicole again to update her on my conversation with Lauren and for her to please get back to me.  This was yesterday.  Nicole never got back to me.

Today, I called the office again to speak with Nicole and was advised she would be in later.  She took all my information again about what I needed from Nicole and said would definately have her call me back.  I did advise her that I was having a hard time getting a hold of her and she was very nice and apologized and said she would relay my message.  She didn't call me back today so I guess I'll try again on Friday

On a brighter note,  Happy Thanksgiving to everyone here I am thankful for all the support!

Hi Nicole and everyone: 

I was so happy to see your post this morning.  I was thinking about u and wondering where u were in the process. 

I had my blood work, chest x-ray and EKG done last week.  My dr turned in the paperwork for the sleep apnea test but I have not heard anything from them.  I will give them a call today and see where they are.  I also have my Psych test & Physical Therapy scheduled for Dec 8th.

I'm scheduled for the meeting with the nutritionist on Jan 15th.  I decided to wait until January for the Nut so I can use my 2009 fleixble spending account to pay the $600.  I'm hoping to have the surgery in late January or early February. 

This is a long process so hang in there.
